Heidi Mitchell has a career in marketing and communication and became involved with WA state charter schools in 2015. As an advocate in the sector she has met with legislators in Olympia, spoke at press conferences, and acted as an intervenor in the lawsuit El Centro de la Raza v State of Washington. She is passionate about public charter schools because she believes every student should be excited about their education. Heidi has a Master of Arts in Communication and Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Washington. She lives with her husband and their two sons in Spokane, WA.
