Racial and Cultural Microaggressions Are Not so ‘Micro’: Understanding the Hidden Language (and Impact) of Microaggressions

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This will be an interactive workshop focused on identifying, interrupting, and transforming microaggressions. Participants will be invited to share their own experiences of micro-aggressions, including being targeted by them and being the person unconsciously offending.  From the framework of cultural humility, and in community, we will share specific examples of microaggressions, identify systemically oppressive themes connected to them, and discuss the hidden messages behind them.
