Washington State, with its relatively new charter school law, is uniquely positioned to learn from 25 years of best and promising practices developed in the charter school sector.  One of the key strategies to becoming successful as a charter school is organizing and developing a board that is prepared to govern for greatness. Such a board will be intentionally developed in a way that best serves the students, ensures the school fulfills its mission with fidelity, and stands the test of time.
